Community Outreach and Clinical Training

The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC operates an Odulair mobile dental clinic as a core component of its community outreach and student clinical training. The program delivers supervised dental care to underserved patients across Southern California while providing students with community-based clinical experience that supplements on-campus training.

Appointments are scheduled through community partner organizations. Services include preventive, restorative, and basic surgical procedures performed under licensed faculty supervision. The unit supports multiple deployment sites throughout greater Los Angeles, reaching populations without access to fixed-site dental facilities.

For dental schools, the mobile clinic provides a controlled clinical environment that meets academic standards for equipment, infection control, and operatory layout. Odulair units are selected by university programs because every system is engineered specifically for sustained dental clinical use.

Purpose-Built Clinical Standards

Academic dental programs require equipment layouts and infection-control standards that match fixed-site clinics. Converted vehicles often lack adequate compressor capacity, sterilization workflow, and electrical systems rated for continuous clinical loads. Odulair units are engineered from the ground up with dedicated dental power, suction, compressed air, and cabinetry systems.

The Solana™ solar system supplies 8 hours of self-contained operation, eliminating the need for shore power or generators at school, church, and community sites. Units are available in 18–53 ft configurations with 1–10 chairs; 53 ft double-expanding trailers provide 1,100+ sq ft and require a CDL.

Odulair maintains a 150-180 days new-build lead time. All units meet the clinical and regulatory requirements of university and FQHC programs.

Also Trusted By Leading Health Organizations

Odulair mobile units support community health outreach and patient access programs for FQHCs, universities, and health systems nationwide.
